Sample Scenes

On this page you will find a collection of RandomControl Scenes to test our products with.

Each .zip file contains a .rcs file, which is the actual RandomControl Scene (geometry and materials), as well as a /resources folder with all the texture maps needed.

Assuming that Arion is installed on your computer, download and unzip the file that you want to test and double-click the .rcs file. Arion will load the scene and start to render automatically.

WARNING: The use of these scenes outside Arion is strictly forbidden. It is explicitly forbidden to extract the geometry of these scenes for its use in other rendering packages.

One of our favorite quick-load/quick-render test scenes at RandomControl. It has more or less everything you need to get familiar with Arion, and it renders pretty fast too.

Octopus Mech by Luima Morillo (luima)

Enjoy tweaking and playing with this awesome octopus mech model. This scene is also a nice example of our 'matte floor' feature that allows you to 'ground' an object in a scene that has no floor.

RC Teapot by RandomControl

For Arion 2.0.0 or newer

A small cute scene for starters or even for CPU rendering only. It cleans fast and features emitters. The teapot features proper UVs so you can test different materials on it as well.
